Who am I?

My greatest desire in life is to be a minister for the Savior, Jesus Christ. 

In a documentary produced about him before his death, Thomas S. Monson, 16th president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said, 

“The sweetest experience I know in life is to feel a prompting and act upon it and later find out that it was the fulfillment of someone’s prayer or someone’s need. And I always want the Lord to know that if He needs an errand run, Tom Monson will run that errand for Him.”

To be the type of minister that President Monson was, I’ve espoused three core values:

• Always live worthy to be able to hear the promptings of the Holy Ghost

• “Tarry a little longer” with those who need my love (3 Nephi 17:5)

• Sacrifice what I want for the service of the Lord

“Can you imagine, for a second, that it is 2 am, the dead of night. You’ve just received a call that a sister in your ward is about to die. You and your wife enter the car. The dark city flies by you, and the beautiful streetlamps and the lights on the dashboard set a tone of stillness and peace as you rush to the ailing woman’s home.

“You ride in silence as you seek for the Holy Ghost’s inspiration to know what to do when you enter. Finally you arrive. You enter the humble home. There, you and your wife, a pair of independent ministers, not mandated by any commander to arrive, appear as holy angels sent from God […]

“My friends, there is no better work than the work of the ministry. This is the holy work that will be remembered through the eternities.”
